ISO 9001 Revision – DIS Approved!
The Draft International Standard ISO/DIS 9001:2026 has officially been approved, with 97% of P-members voting in favour, a strong signal of global engagement in the next edition of the world’s leading quality management standard.
This stage generated extensive participation worldwide, with hundreds of contributions consolidated into a 470-page comment report, confirming how closely the international community is following the revision.
We’re proud to share that Dr Didier Blanc, Director at ViaSyst, is an active member of the ISO/TC 176/SC 2/WG 29 expert group responsible for analysing and resolving these comments.
The committee will meet again in January 2026 in Mexico to deal with the received comments and prepare the FDIS.
