Upcoming WD 22003-2 meeting: 642 comments to deal with!

The ISO 22003-2 project has been initiated and accepted in order to provide a complementary set of requirements for food safety systems accredited under ISO 17065 equivalent to the complements brought by ISO 22003-1 to accreditation under ISO 17021-1.

The first meeting dedicated to launch the project and prepare the first working draft took place in Ottawa in September 2019.

642 comments (92 pages) submitted by all major stakeholders have been collated against the circulated working draft.

These comments are going to be dealt with during a virtual CASCO WG 36 meeting which is going to be held from 22nd to 25th September, replacing the physical meeting initially planned in Singapore.

Quite a challenge to manage going through so many comments remotely, with experts from all time zones and continents!

Dr Didier BLANC, ViaSyst President is part of the CASCO WG 36 experts and will participate to the meeting.

Stay connecting to the ViaSyst newsletter to be posted on the major meetings outcomes.
